About Junior Achievement The Chick-fil-A 5K Run benefits Junior Achievement and its educational programs throughout the Memphis area.
Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement is the largest and fastest growing organization providing economic education to K-12 students. Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South has been serving students in this community since 1955 and impacts the lives of more than 52,000 students in Memphis, Shelby County and the surrounding communities each year.
Their mission is "to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics to improve the quality of their lives."
All the proceeds from the Chick-fil-A 5K help fund Junior Achievement programs, activities and in-school classes throughout the Mid-South. Thanks to Junior Achievement, students from kindergarten through high school get the opportunity to learn and experience "how business works."
You have the opportunity to make a different through simply participating in the Chick-fil-A 5K Run/Walk. Junior Achievement's goal is to offer programs in every class, in every school in the Mid-South. Sign up today and join Chick-fil-A in impacting the education of our children. Together, we can make their goal a reality.
